Among other things, Claassen Logistics works with the sustainability system of VTL. As the first network of medium-sized distribution companies, VTL has a TüV-certified Network Carbon Footprint. This includes the CO2 emission of all company processes.

Reduce the emission of transport

We only buy trucks with clean engines. We deploy LZVs to be able to transport more cargo per kilometre driven. The transport between our depots in Tilburg and Meppel is always done with these eco combis. We thus save over 30% CO2 emission on this trajectory.

CSR business operation

Claassen Logistics promotes corporate social responsibility in its business operation. Claassen Logistics’ headquarters were developed sustainably, using material with a green OK status. The result is an extremely low energy consumption. In the daily business operation we contribute to a cleaner environment by separating waste completely and by applying the latest technologies. Our drivers were trained in ‘New Driving’, resulting in considerable fuel saving.

A workplace for everyone

Claassen Logistics offers people with a disadvantage in the labour market a workplace. In addition, we are an accredited training company and work in partnership with (vocational) education. The management of Claassen Logistics participates in boards and projects that serve the public interest, including the environment, the logistics branch and regional activities.
